Campers ages 8-12 (beginners and more advanced). Everyone can be a magician! Learn simple card tricks, rubber band magic, rope tricks, coin manipulations and magic done with everyday objects. The more advanced performer will further their skills in close-up magic, parlor magic, and stage magic. Rick (performing magic since the age of 7) will share with you the magic that brought him along the road to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, America’s Got Talent, and Minute To Win It. Rick will work with you to build your skills and create your own show. Don’t just wow your friends; make money performing at birthday parties or other special occasions! Parents are invited to attend a spectacular show on Friday. A $30 supply fee is payable to Rick Smith Jr. at the first class. Other tricks may be purchased for an additional fee.

Campers ages 8-12. Join our multi-talented camp staff and learn magic, yo-yo tricks, juggling, balloon twisting and more. Rick Smith Jr. and his experts will share with you their skills and work with you to build your own show. All you need is enthusiasm and the willingness to practice! Parents are invited to attend a spectacular show on Friday. Bring a lunch and beverage daily. A $45 supply fee is payable to Rick Smith Jr. at the first class.

REGISTRATION
Residents may begin registering for all camps beginning Saturday, March 10 from 9am –12pm at our Spring/Summer Registration Fair in the Pepper Pike Learning Center. Non-residents may begin registering at 11:00am that day but will not be processed until the following Monday at the end of the workday. Directors from camps will be on hand to answer questions and help you register. Registration will continue through Friday, May 25 (Camp Registration Deadline) at Orange Community Education and Recreation offices in Pepper Pike Learning Center Mondays-Thursdays from 9am–8pm, Fridays from 9am-5pm and Saturdays from 9am–1pm.
WAITING LIST NOTE: As camps fill please be sure to put your name on the waiting list. If space becomes available you will be called if we are able to accommodate your child. Residents will be given priority over non-residents once on the waiting list.
